Trusting Again
Sometimes when things are not going as planned, we lose our trust in men, in friends, in clergy, in God, and in ourselves. I often hear women say, “I just don’t trust anyone.”
What if… you honored what your brain is doing – trying to protect you and help you see there is a reason to not trust. What if… it’s okay not to trust right now. What if… you just allowed yourself to honor the space you are in rather than thinking you have to or are supposed to be trusting.
The truth is, you are a trusting person and you had someone take advantage of that trust. Right now, its okay to allow space to just get your bearings again, to get a better grip on your own reality, and then… then we start the work of learning to trust again.
And guess what? It begins with trusting yourself!
